Emily West Village
Opened in the West Village by the Brooklyn restaurateurs Emily and Matt Hyland well known for their Pizza dishes. The new location brings new combinations of New York and New Haven pizza styles. The place is decorated with art from employees and local customers. Like it’s Brooklyn sister place (Emily Brooklyn), is fun and has a family atmosphere.
Hà Nội House
Like Vietnamese food? Check this spot in East Village opened by Ben Lowell and Sara Leveen. The place is located in St. Mark and has about 40 small tables.
The center of the menu is pho, a beef noodle soup that originated in small towns nearby Hanoi. Soup and stew options on the menu include:
- Hanoi-style beef pho (Costs $13), and comes with rice noodles and brisket.
- Clams and congee (Costs $18)
- Braised brisket stew with lemongrass (Costs $20)
